How we work
No black boxes. No surprises.
A clear path from first conversation to launch and beyond. You always know what is being built, what it costs, and what happens next.
- 01
Discover
We start by understanding the problem properly: your goals, your users, your constraints and the systems already in place. Nothing is assumed.
What you get
- A shared understanding of goals and success measures
- User and process maps
- Risks and open questions, written down
- 02
Scope
We turn what we learned into a written scope: what will be built, in what order, by when, and for how much. You approve it before any build work begins.
What you get
- A fixed scope with milestones
- A fixed price and payment schedule
- Wireframes or a clickable prototype
- 03
Build
Work proceeds in short cycles. Every week you see working software you can click through, and every change is reviewed and tested before it is merged.
What you get
- A demo every week
- A staging site you can use at any time
- Reviewed, tested, documented code
- 04
Launch & care
We launch carefully, verify everything in production, and hand over properly. Then we stay on hand to keep things secure and improving.
What you get
- A verified go-live with a rollback plan
- Training, documentation and handover
- Optional care and growth retainer
Standards
The quality bar on every project.
These are not extras. They are how we work, whatever the size of the engagement.
Peer-reviewed code
No change reaches production without a second pair of eyes.
Tested before release
Automated checks and a manual quality pass on every release.
Secure by default
Secrets are never stored in code. Access is limited to what each role needs.
Accessible to all
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA, so your product works for everyone.
Fast on real devices
Performance is measured on modest phones and slow networks, not just our own machines.
Yours to keep
You own the code and the intellectual property. Documentation is part of the job.
Questions
Working together.
How do we communicate during a project?
You get a named point of contact, a weekly demo, and a shared channel for day-to-day questions. You are never left wondering what is happening.
How does payment work?
Fixed-scope projects are paid by milestone, typically with a deposit to begin. Retainers are billed monthly. Everything is set out in the written scope.
What if something needs to change mid-project?
We scope and price the change, you approve it, and it is scheduled into a milestone. The original budget is never quietly exceeded.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share anything sensitive.
